This piece is definately process based - the connection w/ the Zunis is important and I like the relationship of your little offerings to the big orange X .... Have you called the city to find out why they are cutting it down?

ReplyDeleteAlso you should find out if they are going to plant a replacement for that tree. I doubt this will happen, in which case maybe you should try to plant another tree in the same spot
ReplyDeleteI love your project! I think it turned out better than expected, and I really like that you included one of the letters from your friend...I really think it would be great if you kept updating this, so we know what happens to the tree, and your friend, if you wouldn't mind.
